KDC is a socio-economic organization created to empower its members socially, economically and spiritually through means at its disposal. KDC is organized exclusively for charitable, educational, scientific and self help activities and programs consistent with activities of organizations that qualify as exempt organizations under the Internal Revenue Code.

According to Article Five of the KDC Consitution, KDC Shall:

  • Provide a forum in which people from Kenya living in Denver/Colorado and/or friends of Kenya, can meet and discuss ways to support each other.
  • Facilitate intelligent discourse on economic, political and social issues that affect the Kenyans in the mother country.
  • Provide a forum for communicating and articulating KDC’s position on the various issues affecting the Kenyan people to the Denver/Colorado community.
  • Promote the recruitment of members, organize fund raising, and organize activities for the betterment of the Kenya community in Denver.
  • Provide a forum for the sharing of the unique Kenyan cultural heritage in all its diversity and particularly inculcate in Kenyans born in Colorado the rich history and ethos of the people in their land of ancestry.
  • Promote understanding, cooperation, love and harmony among Kenyans in Colorado and their friends, and represent and protect their interests with all due diligence.
  • Liaise with other organizations in Colorado whenever this shall become necessary for the realization of the group objectives.

Our Mission
 
KDC’s mission is to promote unity, communication, self help and networking among Kenyans in Denver and the Greater Colorado. Pamoja tusimame!!!!
